This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Miami Intradeco HQ or remote role with travel to Miami Intradeco HQ.
Who we are looking for:
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for business development and opening new distribution with major national retailers. This leader will work closely with current strategic retail partners to expand the business through strategic assortments, brilliant brand & product storytelling that comes to life in the physical stores and identifying white space opportunities throughout the marketplace.
What you will do:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead by example, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.
- Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy to exceed revenue goals across wholesale channels and with key retail partners.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Cultivate and build strong partnerships with key retail partners, including majors in various channels of distribution such as Sporting goods, Department stores, Clubs, and Value channel.
- Lead expansion by opening new major accounts strategically with a long-term lens on partnerships and the business.
- Negotiate assortments, pricing structures, and retail marketing agreements with retail partners.
- Strong execution of the Go to Market process
- Partner with Marketing to align sales initiatives with brand campaigns, seasonal launches, and digital growth strategies.
- Work closely with Merchandising to provide commercial input and actual retail sales insights that inform product innovation and assortment planning and key item opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and Merchandising to ensure inventory availability and efficient order fulfillment.
- Establish key sales KPIs and performance metrics, providing regular reporting and analysis to the cross functional team, during a “read and react” weekly meeting. Drive data driven decisions.
- Develop annual sales forecasts by account, forecast product selling, budgets,
- Build collaborative retail sales plans, receipt plans, and GM goals with key accounts to ensure long-term financial success.
Who you are:
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the outdoor apparel, sporting goods, or active lifestyle industries.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce channels.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the outdoor retail landscape, industry trends, competitive brands, experience working with national retailers.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent business acumen. Data-driven mindset with experience in sales forecasting, and performance analytics.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Passion for the outdoors and familiarity with the needs of outdoor enthusiasts.
